AIH Studios is excited to share our ongoing project Artists You Need To Know. We’re posting images and information about many different artists on a weekly basis here at our site. We also share these on social media (you can connect with us on Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn).

This project began several years ago, and we now have an archive of past artists that you can explore here. The sidebar to the right is where you’ll find our past featured artists, offering a wider understanding of both contemporary and historical art. These are organized chronologically; however, several notable artists are featured below with links directly to their respective pages. 

AN IMPORTANT NOTE : a number of the Artist You Need To Know features have links out to the CCCA Database. This impressive archive of both contemporary and more historical Canadian artists – which was created and maintained by Bill Kirby – has been REMOVED by Concordia University, with the promise of a new site being launched later in 2023. We will keep monitoring this situation, but we ask for your patience regarding any broken links in the meantime; we will be dealing with this as the situation progresses.
